Tiger Families,

Welcome to this month’s edition of the Caldwell County Schools Newsletter! Each month, we’ll share important updates, upcoming events, and helpful reminders to keep our families and community informed and connected.

Bus Notes and Transportation Changes

Bus Notes and Transportation Changes
To ensure student safety and clear communication, we will no longer accept bus notes or transportation changes over the phone unless it is an emergency. Please submit all transportation changes to your school secretaries through email or ParentSquare. This change will take effect on Monday, November 3, 2025

Drop-Off Policy Reminder
Students must be in 6th grade or above to be dropped off without an adult. Younger students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a sibling who is in 6th grade or above.

HOPE Family Resource Center Thanksgiving Food Drive

The HOPE Family Resource Center is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive November 4–6. Donations of non-perishable food items are greatly appreciated. All collected items will be given to Southside Baptist Church to help create Thanksgiving food baskets for local families in need. Thank you for helping make this holiday season brighter for our community!

The classroom at each school that collects the most items overall will win a pizza party!

*Caldwell County Middle School and Caldwell County High School will host a Christmas Food Drive

Veterans Day Events

Join us this Veterans Day as we honor the brave men and women who have served our country.

We are excited to welcome all local Veterans to a special celebration on Tuesday, November 11, at Caldwell County Elementary School.

📅 Date: Tuesday, November 11
⏰ Time: Doors open at 7:10 a.m. and the program will begin at 7:35 a.m.
📍Location: Caldwell County Elementary School

Following the conclusion of the program, we’ll begin the campus-wide parade.

Caldwell County High School is hosting a Veterans Day lunch. Lunch is open to any veteran related to a student at Caldwell County High School.

Winter Donation Drive

CCHS and CCMS Gifted and Talented students are giving back this season by collecting winter clothing items to support the HOPE and COPE Centers.
  • CCHS GT students are collecting winter hats and gloves of all sizes. Donations can be placed in the collection box located in the CCHS cafeteria through Thursday, November 13.
  • CCMS GT students are collecting hats, gloves, leggings, and sweatpants, with a collection box available in Mrs. Harralson’s room through Thursday, November 13.

Toy Drive

CCES Gifted and Talented students are spreading holiday cheer through a special community service project supporting Operation Giving Trees — a local Princeton nonprofit that provides assistance to families all year long.

​Donations will be accepted through Friday, November 21.

Requested Donations:
Toy cars, Lego sets, Barbie dolls & baby dolls

Thanksgiving Break

As we head into Thanksgiving Break (November 26-28), we’re thankful for our amazing students, families, and staff. Enjoy time with loved ones, delicious food, and a well-deserved rest! School will resume on Monday, December 1.

2025-2026 School Calendar

Please note that the dates for parent-teacher conferences have changed. This includes both the fall and spring semesters.

Keep up with all the important dates! From parent-teacher conferences to school holidays and special events, our school calendar ensures your family is always in the loop. Click the calendar to view or download a copy, and don’t forget to check back regularly for any updates throughout the year.  

School Food Pantry

The School Food Pantry is located at CCES. Families with children enrolled in Caldwell County Schools are eligible to visit the food pantry. You can schedule an appointment to visit the pantry by calling the HOPE Center at 270-365-8050 or the COPE Center at 270-365-8026.

School Clinic

The school clinic will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM while school is in session. A dedicated Baptist Health team will be on-site to provide essential health services, ensuring our students and staff have access to the care they need.
